Friday

Oh well, the SCO concert was a blast, what with the Singapore Indoor Stadium almost filled to the brim. Over 4 million dollars in ticket sales, another 1.5 million donated by Lee Foundation, and overall 6 million plus was collected for charity.

Like wow, we get CIP hours, $1000 to each choir (there were Shanghai Opera House people, NUS choir, AJC choir, us, and TPJC choir), and great exposure (Hey, the SIS was almost full you know. Just thinking about how many people there were still gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside).

Anyway, other than our legs feeling as if the weight of the Earth was on them, scores threatening to drop, the Shanghai Bass beside me coming in 1 beat earlier (it was clearly audible), and me trying to stifle my laughter, I'd say the concert was a huge success.

Not to mention the performance put up by those handicapped guys from China. Really admire them for being able to achieve so much despite being disabled. Honestly, when I first saw them perform, I was almost moved to tears (which I somehow managed to hold back) by their effort. Really touching, I tell you, even Mr Kwei said so.

And now I know why Kallang KFC offers free refills. They bloody mixed the drinks with so much water it's bloody diluted. Luckily, the root beer and mountain dew were alright.
Note to self: Never ever drink Pepsi or 7-up at Kallang KFC.

Saturday

Woke up to my father's screams of "GO AND COLLECT YOUR PASSPORT" or somewhere along those lines. Right, so I collected my new biometric passport (yay!), went home, switched on computer, watched some anime, fell asleep, watched more anime, played some Gunbound with Huiling and Frederick. That just about sums up the whole day.

Sunday

And so the time comes for me to leave our humid and relatively warm country for the likes of the United States of America. No, I'm not migrating there. Just going there for a holiday. It's more of a teacher-student reunion for my father, considering one of his ex-students is going to host us there. Hope he has a big mansion, internet access, and most importantly, a beautiful 17 year old daughter that gets along fine with me. Right... The odds are almost zero, but hey, i'm a 17 year old guy, it's normal to think that way right? Uh.. guys out there. Right?
